My Dell XPS 13 gets stuck on the spinning dots after the latest Windows update. It was fine last week. No unusual noises and the battery charges normally.
I have important documents on the drive that are not backed up, so recovering those matters more than a fast turnaround. Happy for you to take it away if that is easier.
